If asked if numerology has anything to do with literature, one might ask that the elephant is the mamara and the cuckoo is the elephant. However, Suresh has taught Gudaga and written a book to ask why there should not be a relationship. Literature is an interest. It has nothing to do with the degree we get. Reading and writing are interests that develop in us from childhood. Gudaga also developed a taste for writing when he was still in seventh grade. It seems that this author took his hand and inspired him to write a story and a column, like a budding Siri. Gudganavara took up writing after retirement. Before that, she had dedicated herself to serving in Sahitya Parishad. Because he was the one who made the members by traveling on a scooter all over the taluk. This kind of commitment is rare. Now he is writing various articles in many leading newspapers of the country.

Gudaganavara has written about the eminent people who have worked in various walks of life with great love. Admiration, love and gentility which are the main qualities of Kannada soil are overflowing in all these articles. There are many people who write about people on screen. Many others prefer to stay behind the scenes. Here Suresha has recognized such lumps of shyness and written about them.

The name of this work ‘Kannada Deepa’ is unique. The function of lamp is to remove darkness. Carrying the light. The 53 lives enshrined here can be a beacon for future generations.
