Ettumanur Sivakumar is a famous Malayalam writer. In 1975-805 he involved himself in the field of literature, singing a new literary genre called magical literature.

Gangadharan is popularly known as KKG among his close friends. He was born in the village of Pathunadukka in Kasaragod, Kerala and spent his childhood in the village of Iron Bridge in Somwarpet taluk of Kodagu. He was educated in Kajoor, Somwarpet, Puttur and started his professional career in a private company in 19700 Hassan and later worked in different towns and became known as a literary companion by translating many works into Kannada language.

KK Gangadharan, who is known as a bridge in the translation industry of Kannada and Malayalam, translated many of his works for Kannada readers and ushered in new reading. In this regard, he entered the field of translation in 1978. Since then he has succeeded in translating many novels into Kannada.

It is commendable that the stories translated by KK Gangadharan have been included in the Kannada medium texts of Class IX of Bangalore University, Akkamahadevi VV (Vijaypur) Kasaragod.
