‘ಅಪರೂಪ’ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ರಾಮಾಚಾರಿಯವರ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಲೇಖನಗಳ ಸಂಕಲನವಿದು. ಮಿನಿ ಸಂದರ್ಶನಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಚಂದ್ರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ, ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಭೈರಪ್ಪ, ನಾ.ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಬರಗೂರು ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರಪ್ಪ ಮುಂತಾದ ಗಣ್ಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಸಿರುವ ಲೇಖಕ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ರಾಮಾಚಾರಿ ಅಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಿಡುಗಾದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಿರುವ ಧೀರ್ಘವಾದ ಲೇಖನಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪಿಡುಗಾದ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರವೆಂಬ ಪೆಡಂಭೂತ ಬೇರೂರಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಅದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪಾರಾಗಿ ಗಂಡೆಂಬ ಪಿಶಾಚಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಪರಿಯನ್ನು, ಸಲಹೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಆರ್ದತೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮನಕಲಕುವಂತೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ನೂರಾರು ಕಥೆ, ಲೇಖನ, ಕಾದಂಬರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾರಸ್ವತ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬರಾದ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ರಾಮಾಚಾರಿಯವರು ಅಪರೂಪದ ದಾಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಓದುಗರ ಕೈಗಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಬಲ್ಲೆ.

Aparupa’ is a collection of really rare articles by Bhadravati Ramachari. In addition to mini interviews, author Bhadravati Ramachari, who has spoken intimately with eminent literary figures like Poornachandra Tejaswi, SL Bhairappa, N. D’Souja, Baraguru Ramachandrappa, not limited to that, has also surveyed the biggest scourge of our country, along with lengthy articles about the roots of another scourge of the world, rape. Pari, who teaches lessons to the demons called boys as our daughters, has been written sensitively, with warmth and interest to move the minds of girls.
I can proudly say that Bhadravati Ramachari, one of my dear students, who has contributed hundreds of stories, articles and novels to the Kannada Saraswat world in a rare way, has put the book in the hands of the readers.
