ಘೋರವಾದ ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲುದ್ಯುಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯಾಕೆ? ಇದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾವುದು? ತನಗಾದ ಅಗಾಧವಾದ ಗಾಯವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ತೋರಿಸಿದರೆ ನನ್ನ ದುಃಖ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆತ್ಮೀಯತೆಯ ಅಶ್ರುಗಳು ದುರ್ಭಾಗ್ಯನ ದುಃಖಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಬಲ್ಲವು ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ? ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ವಿಧಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಚಿಂದಿ ಉಡಾ ಕೊಂಡೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನಗೊಂಥರಾ ಗತ್ತು. ಅಮ್ಮನ ಅವತಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಸಿ ಹಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಬಹುತೇಕರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗದ ನೀವೇ ಓದಿನೋಡಿ. ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿಯಂತೂ ಹೇರಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಮ್ಮನೆದುರು ಮಂಡಿ ಊರಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಮ್ಮಾ… ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊ ಅಂತ, ಆಕೆ ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಳೋ ಬಿಟ್ಟಳೋ
