It can be said that the story of Ramayana is quite complementary to modern life. All over the world Ramayana has spread its influence in different languages. Where it has reached is that if some people keep talking about an incident that happened in their life or something that happened in some other part, they say “Sakappa stop your Ramayana”. That means they remember Ramayana even at that time. Some of the characters that come here are deified from the point of view of humanity and are still popular among the masses. Especially the role of Hanuman, the son of Pawan. He sheds his light so profusely in the Ramayana that at one point Rama extols, “Hanuman, you are dearer to me than my brothers Bharata, Shatrughan and Lakshmana.”
